During my studies this week I gained a great knowledge on running a successful online business. One thing that stuck out in my mind was learning about demand and competition. I was quite impressed with the case study we read, and how to use the Google Word Planner. I hadn’t heard about this program from Google before now, and I can see how beneficial it is when researching certain things for a business. Especially, online businesses. It literally gives you the opportunity to see what people want, which helps you know what product to sell and when to sell it.
Something else that I found important to learn about this week were the different types of business models. These will be helpful when getting into the world of business. While I only know a little about these models as of right now, I am looking forward to learning more about each model, as well as other online business tools, as the semester goes on.
